Task two: prompt

I am going to accomplish task two with my lovely partner Nagini, the purpose of this assessment is to teach people noticing things and details around you. Basically,I’ve got some new ideas of noticing since we looked at Patrick Pound exhibition in week two. Patrick Pound is an avid collector who attempts to make things coherent. The works from the NGV collection are grouped into his own categories. Through this exhibition, I deeply realised that I seldom to notice the relation between different things or photos like what Pound did. Henceforward, I should be adept in noticing things around me, I should learn to notice something new that I have not noticed before. Being mindful and aware!!

For this task, we are asked to notice the differences and similarities between both of our pairs’ location and our owns. My partner decided St Patrick Church as her familiar place and I chose State library. The literal meaning of church is a building in which Christians meet for worship and a group of people who gather for religious purposes in there. To be honest, I have never been to church before so that I just got superficial impression of church. I asked myself that what churches should be and the first words entered my mind were grand and glorious. In my impression, I saw people holding their wedding ceremony in churches through Tv. I also knew that some people praise God and give him glory for their love and compassion in churches. Without any research, I guess the environment in all churches should be like very serious and godlike. I thought that people are not allowed to take pictures and walk in churches because it may interrupt prayers probably. I expect to see people holding ceremony and reading Bibles, singing songs in there. I am so curious that what is going to happen when I need to find something to notice in church.
