Week 9 workshop:

During today’s workshop, Brain introduced PB4 which the last assignment in this semester. At the beginning of this workshop, we watched our PB3 videos from classmates. I have to say that I was nervous whenever to show my own project in front of the whole class. Well, I’m always not confident so I hope it is not bad… After watched other’s productions, I realized that most of them have a very specific title and then they asked further and deeper questions about it. For me, I just made a wide title so the questions of the interview are seems like not in depth and unspecific. Therefore, I will pay more attention on deciding the theme for the future projects.

After that, we were divided into small groups in random for our PB4 assignment. Fortunately, I had two lovely girls in my group, Jennifer and Nadiah. As mentioned by Doctor Rachel Wilson in this week’s lecture, collaboration is the vital element in this assignment, so that we created a chat group in Facebook, it’s easier to make a meeting and talk out the problems we met. Then we analyzed the request of this project, we decided ‘Clickbait’ as the final topic after our discussion. To be honest, I felt a little bit confused about this topic because I never think about it in depth even when I experienced it in my daily life. For the first step, we are considering that we do our own research and write down some note in the Google Drive so that we can catch each other’s ideas. Anyway, we will meet after class to do further work on it. After that, Brain gave us a chance to practice how to use the Recorder H2n, which has a high sound quality when do the recording. Besides, I can’t say I’m good at using Adobe Audition, I think it’s really complicated to edit. I may search some teaching videos. I will try to do my best anyway. I hope our group can get an expected result~~
