During this weeks tutorial, all of us completed our self portrait video for assignment we produced, so everyone’s videos were being shown to the whole class. I was really nervous because everybody in class were watching and evaluating my production in their mind. However, realised it is not awful actually, because we can all look back at others’ videos, seems like a good opportunity to learn something from others. Some of the them are really creative and interesting that gives me more new ideas and helped to improve more for my future projects.

After watching everyone’s videos, we moved onto another class activities which was interviewing practising for our PB3 assignment. We were divided into group of 3-4, given a camera equipment. Brain briefly introduced the function of it and how to use some simple technique when you conduct a interview video. This progress was quite helpful because it gave me feelings and some ideas of what kind of shots I will use in my interview. Brain also emphasised that sound is vital in an interview because talking occupies the most of part when it comes to an interview. Another thing need to be pay attention would be the background we use. It actually goes for shooting again, we need to notice the lighting, the camera angles, the person’s gesture and so on.
