Animation: cars 2

I watched the movie called CAR2 again this week. Actually, it is still one of my favourite animations. It produced by Pixar Animation Studios. In this film, race car Lightning McQueen and tow truck Mater head to Japan and Europe to compete, but mater becomes sidetracked with international espionage… This film was released by Walt Disney Studios on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download on November,1,2011. It sold a total of 1,983,374 DVD units during its opening week, generating $31.24 million and claiming first place. In addition, it finished on the top spot on the Blu-ray chart during its first week, selling 1.76 million units and generating $44.57 million. Beside its quantity of sale and popularity among individuals, I really admire the excellent editing and background in this animation. I think the most powerful editing is hidden, a great edit is an edit you don’t see. To be more specific, every single scene can be linked to the next one naturally and I can catch the emotion and keep the pacing in the story. I think its editing is able to control audiences’ mind and people don’t know it is happening. Therefore, I believe that the good editing makes this animation more insightful and sucessful.
