Task Three Pitch Reflection

Pitch Feedback:

Thanks to Hannah’s invitation, Paul and Sophie joined us on the panel for pitches and their suggestions really helped me a lot to come up with new ideas and gave me some reminders.

Sophie is more interested in ‘angles’ of photos, which is about the second experimental. As she suggested, to research on ‘angles’ and the images; ‘colours’ and the images would be an interesting breakthrough point to develop for Task Four. I think I could focus on the inner relationship between ‘angles’ and ‘colours’ to explore how these elements affect images in Task Four. The images I will use are the same but combine these images into a video through change their colours and from different angles.

About the method of research, Paul suggested me to make everything simple, which means it is not necessary to do the questionnaire for each experimental, maybe personal reflection on media would also be fine. However, I still consisted on my method of doing the survey by questionnaire for Task Three because the key point I focused on is ‘the viewers’, but my personal reflection cannot reveal the general feelings and emotions of the public, so I prefer to ask more people about their reflections to discover more about the questions. Meanwhile, I would also accept Paul’s suggestion and make it works in Task Four because I will emphasize on media itself (images or videos), thus, through noticing the media, the personal reflection would be fine because the emphasis has changed.

At the end of teachers’ feedback, Hannah left me some questions I need to think about when I do Task Four:

Even in the created, what do you think through when you shooting a particular photography?

what am I trying to do when I took the photograph?

Does photography reflect the thinking?

How that influence what you focus on?

Although I still did not have a clear clue on what I am going to do in Task Four, I will keep these questions and think about each as soon as I had the decision.
