Adele Concert in Sydney

12 March, 2017

10 March is was Adele’s Concert in Sydney and fortunately, I went to.

I had Foundation of University of Sydney for one year, so I bought the ticket when I was still in Sydney last year. It is the first time I back to Sydney to met my friends this year and we went to the concert together.

To be honest, Adele is one of my favorite singers and she is famous for two songs, which are ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and ‘Hello’. It is my first time to go to the concert and the thing that most surprised me was the arrangement of the environment in the stadium.

As the photo I upload, there were over two big screen to show Adele to the audiences. The big screens can avoid the audiences who sit far away cannot see Adele clearly. Moreover, another function of these screens is to play videos or images for the audiences. Although Adele was magnified ten times on the giant screens, she still looks so beautiful~

The giant screen is one of the applications of media. It transmits photos, images, video even words to the public and useful in many ways, such as for advertising, noticing and teaching in the school.

The colorful light beams are another aspect that grab people’s attention. According to the ambient sound of the song, light beams change their colors to give the audiences different feelings. For example, when Adele sang ‘Rolling in the Deep’, the light beams became strong, colorful and sparkling, because this song is powerful; however, the light beams became clam, stable and dull when she sang ‘Hello’, because it is largo and the music should be played slowly.

Thus, the changes of color of the light beams would affect people’s moods and the environment. From the photo I provided, the light beams were strong and colorful. It gave the audience a feeling of excited and happiness. The light beams mixed with fireworks paper would enhance exciting visual effects of the public.

Overall, I felt excited on the concert and I promise, if I have chance, I will attend again next time! Media is really a strange concept, it is omnipresent. In the concert, media exist through the giant screens, voice tube, light beams even the advertising and photos of Adele outside the stadium. We will not experience the fantastic concert if without these useful and necessary applications.
