Cartoon is a good way to educate people, which including children and adults. Also, a large number of animations and cartoons have been published online through media platforms, such as youtube, google video.

The video I posted is one part of ‘We Bare Bears’, which describes three bears attempt to integrate with human society, such as by purchasing food, making human companions or trying to become famous on the Internet, although these attempts see the bears struggle to do so due to the civilized nature of humans and their own animal instincts. The stories happened on these three bears also can reflect the current situation among the society. ‘Hyper and Deep Attention’, which is the topic of the lecture could link to this video.

Grizz, the Grizzly bear is playing game by using the television. Panda, the giant bear wants to play as well, but he said twice in order to receive the response from Grizz. From this point, it is obviously that when people do something they interested in, it is hard for them to divert attention from other things. Ice bear, which is the white polar bear was cleaning the floor and hurt Grizz unintentional. Ice bear and Panda even took photos with Grizz’s fur for a long time, but Grizz still paid attention to the game, not noticed that. Even at the last moment, he still did not know he lost his fur.

Although it is just a short cartoon but it displays the meaning of ‘deep attention’ fully. For my personal experience, I can pay deep attention to the things I interested in, even the article about my hobbies or the course which is my prefer. However, if something cannot grab my attention, I will just like Panda did. Panda could play games, but also could give up play games and to took photos with Ice bear. Thus, hyper attention would be happened any time because people will find thousands of excuses to reject something they do not want to do.

Another reason I want to analysis this video is that I think it is related to media, especially social media platforms. I began to watch cartoons when I was a child and many truths that I learnt from cartoons. Thus, media appear everywhere for a long term and people cannot live without it. Moreover, according to the development of technologies, more types of media platforms appear in the society, such as channels on television, websites on the Internet. Many business or the factories of cartoons, films or dramas cost huge investment to advertise through these social media platforms.The reason why these companies do that is media really has a great influence on our daily life.
