week 3 – reading

This week’s reading is from an author David Gauntlett, he talks about his book ‘Making Media Studies’. He outlines a few points about media studies: we need to do something with media and get involved rather than just talk about it, because we should explore something rather than looking back about the history. Therefore creativity is ver important about media. I think we are on the right way to learn with media, cuz our course  requires we using media to do assignments,using cameras, mobile phones,social media, blogging is one of them as well. We are creating, using our creativity to make videos, and we learn things during the process. Personally, I like the way how we learn with media, I like to make something rather than just do research about the history and development of media.
