Week11-The Age of innocence

The Age of Innocence is one of my favorite film when I was in the Cinema studies. The setting was extreme beautiful.  The costumes, makeup can represent the their personality and also if you analyze carefully about them, you can see the meaning of the costume. They really help to identify the characters as hints about the failing marriage between Newland and May. The acting is also vary important as well, because every single body movement can express the emotions of the characters, we can know what characters think even when they don’t say anything. Without these components of the Mise en Scene, the argument may turn out not as powerful and strong.
