Rembrandt- Supper at Emmaus

In this painting, Jesus has a pale face, and weakly put hands on the table, makes us feel miserable sad. Jesus sits in the middle , believers sit on both sides. The walls are worn and there are no decorative items, and there is no light, a window, or a door that supplies the room with light. The light from the halo on Jesus’ head is as if it came from the heavenly light. Light shines on Jesus. The use of light here does not highlight the greatness of the characters. But the intense light makes Jesus even more embarrassed and paler. The light spread across the entire screen which conveys sadness and greatness.  With light and light and shade, the main character or the theme of the expression is highlighted, the structure of the picture is clearer, and the frame of vision is also visualized.
