Project Brief #1 – Reflection

 

 

 

 

This studio is my top choice in the Ballot, because I love fashion film, and I always want to make a fashion film. I feel like fashion film has lot of possibilities and large room for creativities, and  I can try different elements and play with it.  I wish this studio provides t more rooms for me to try new thing  and teach me useful skills  such as new camera skills, different kinds of sound design, editing skills ,  and especially the way to think and evaluate fashion films.  Moreover, I want to know and understand more about the history and evolution of fashion film, and it’s future possibilities. Everyone has unique ideas, and so do I.  but it is good to hear different voice from people. I hope I could do better in group work,  and learn how to deal with different opinions, because it is very important to work with others. It is great to have guests coming to class and have a lecture. I like to hear their experience and stories of getting a great job or doing a successful film, or how they dealing with tons of  problems etc.  And I could get good advises and suggestions from them. I like to create things more than just simply recording things, so I like experimental films , and I like Nick Knight, his works always attracts my eyes. I hope I can make an experimental fashion film this semester, it doesn’t have to be perfect,  as long as I try my best to do it.
