Project Brief #1 – 5 images

These 5 images I chose are from Nick Knight, because his is one of my favorite fashion photographer. I like the way he manipulates his images by filtering and editing them within Photoshop. It creates new opportunities and new lives to photography. I believe Knight’s choice of having a serious mood in each image is to make viewers think of a deeper meaning of the photograph. I like the way his use color to highlight emotion and personalities. The mood is shown very clearly by looking at the facial expression of the model and how they are positioned. When I look at Knight’s images, I feel peace, but at the meantime it conveys something very powerful and strong emotion, which makes me wanna explore the deep meaning.
