Reflection #3 – INDIV_EX_1

Individual exercise -1

Last time we have done a group exercise, and now comes with my individual exercise. Firstly, I want to say that the camera is too heavy to carry. I filmed it with a friend, he helps me carry the tripod,  and I carried the  camera. We first took the tram to Flinders station and then walked to the Royal Garden,  and we were exhausted. Next time, I wont walk that far.  I set the camera in front of the road with many trees on both side, so it looks symmetry. Although, it has a nice view, it has few people walking on , so I have to wait for people come. I shoot in wide shot , so I can include the both side trees. I set the camera at the beginning of the road, so I can shoot people going far from the camera. For the second take, I set the camera at the end of the road to shoot people coming to the camera. I lower down the camera for second take, in order to catch the changes of the height when people moving compare to the trees. When I input the video to premiere, I found that it lose some details in the brightest area, and I can’t tell when I was looking at the camera. I need more practice with the camera about adjusting the white balance and exposure.
