Colour Masking for Screen Presentation
After discussion with Paul, we decided that for my text in the screen presentation, I would talk about colour and the effect of using “masks” in Adobe Premiere.
I will show the effects of at least 5 different colour masks in Adobe Premier and show the effect gradually layer on top of the scene as it plays out. For instance, one pillow will adjust, then another, then the blanket, then the book, then the wooden panel behind the couch. The aim of this is to show how you can do a lot more to a shot by individually altering the objects in the frame, rather than altering a general flat hue over the whole scene.
