Synopsis

As a teacher at Sekolah Bina Persada, Ms. Cherry is keen on teaching her students something outside the reaches of a traditional classroom. As part of a social outreach program called SBP for Humanity, Ms. Cherry inspires a group of Grade 9 students to make a difference to those less fortunate. Without reaching from the school’s own pocket, these students raise money in order to build housing for those experiencing Indonesia’s current house shortage. SBP FOR HUMANITY is a 5 minute documentary that celebrates the value of giving back to one’s community.
