During week one of Deliberate Film, we had two days to film a short, 30-second sequence. It had to be boring. The camera had to be set.

We had to be the subject.

It’s certainly one thing to film a sequence of somebody else doing an action, but when you have to set up the camera to film yourself, it’s another. You don’t have the same ability to adjust your frame during the take, you have to spend proper time setting it up.

Which I guess is why our studio is called ‘DELIBERATE’ film. You have to be careful, and…

Well, deliberate.
