Mistakes are entertaining.
When looking into possibilities of using design fiction as a stepping stone towards further developments many theorists suggest that it can be a useful development tool in a variety of ways. In this weeks reading it was outlined that design fiction can be used to test out the viability, strengths and weaknesses of a proposed concept. As soon as i heard this i thought of the 2004 Alex Proyas film I, Robot. I, Robot is a perfect example of using fiction to undercover possible flaws in a design concept, how ever extreme they may be.
