I take the main idea of using facial recognition from my previous study and combining the “image” of the sound. Study 8 is a system that only can be controlled by users’ faces, which means it will start to work after recognising a face from user. And this system can “recognise” your heartbeat and shows on “electrocardiography”, however it is not really recognising your heartbeat, it is recognising your face. There is a sound file of heartbeat which prepared before, and after system recognising users face it will be play and the rhythm will show on the “electrocardiography”.
This time I want to make a simple and fun projects however I still explored some new techniques and they were greatly satisfy my ideas. I used “scope~” and attribute to create a window looks like a electrocardiography window and the heartbeat rhythm is showing as the waving line on this window. Also the facial recognition system was used in this project and play a important role. Additionally this time the whole creative process is very smooth because I was familiar with the basic operations and some known techniques, however my classmates Camille still gave me advice to improve my project which is really appreciate.
