What is networked media?
In short, who knows?
What I can briefly gather is that we sail along a sea of endless ideas and possibilities. Our journey is vast, as there is no shore or final destination.
In my mind, this metaphor suggests that our boat will be in constant movement, searching, seeking. We are here to be inspired, to be innovative, creative, to be open-minded with each passing wave and tide. I am reminded by the concluding remarks of the film, ‘The Great Gatsby’, pronouncing, “Tomorrow we will run faster, stretch our arms farther… So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past”.
