Ten dreams of technology…

The commentary that went with this reading was insightful – I’ve never thought of how important understanding the technicality behind something artistic was, but it is very important. It’s also why we study subjects that seem unnecessary for the particular field we want to go into (or why people study things like philosophy).

I honestly had much more fun reading it than coming up with things to talk about on it. I love science fiction and thought that this was a great way of getting into sci-fi writers’ heads.

One of my favourites was the “dream of immersion”.
