This weeks writing exercise helped me think more about the stylistic changes we should make to create a unity between all our pieces. We need to make sure we edit the pieces similarly. Things like having similar fonts and techniques are something we need to discuss as a group. We also need to think about how we will display the pieces from the map.

This week Brooke and I went to Love Luvo in Seddon to take some photos and got a short interview. The ladies that worked there were very excited to be interviewed and happy to be photographed. They explained a lot about the company and what they do there. They told us they’d give us a shoutout on their instagram about our exhibition and they also wanted to come along, which was very nice to hear.

We also figured out how we would present our piece in this exhibition. We want to gather some books and photos and canvas’ that relate to our project and place them around a laptop with the map on it.

Friday we also went to the temple again and took some more photos and footage. We recorded a chanting song that they had playing in the temple to put behind our piece, which I think will work effectively! We also took photos of each god in the temple and the description next to them and think this will be a cool addition to the piece.
