This week we had our work in progress presentation. I think that our feedback was quite useful. One of the pieces of advice was to include, if possible, more females as our project was pretty male based. Our section on Love Luvo includes three women, so I think that we did slightly fit this in. But most of our pieces are more male based too, but not on purpose at all. We attempted to to include some female volunteers in the Temple piece, but the only people we could find to help us were men. Our other advice was to keep the piece only based on volunteers. We have done this through getting rid of the Footscray Community Arts Centre. I attempted to email them and ask about a volunteer led program that they ran, but they never got back to me.
On Friday we went to the museum and worked more on laying out the exhibition. We also had a look at the exhibition that was about to open at the museum. I think that this helped us create more ideas on how to layout our pieces and how to present.
After visiting the museum Brooke and I went to the Heavenly Queen Temple. We took some footage and we also took some photos of each god that was on display at the temple. In the map I would like to include, with the temple video, a little photo presentation with descriptions of each god with the photos. Each god had a description written in red paper next to them in the temple and I thought that would be a good way to represent the culture of the temple.
