During Seth’s presentation/discussion of the OVE portfolio assessment, a good question from a student resulted in an in depth explanation of the differences between formal and informal writing, in relation to our blogs. This was mainly useful in explaining the idea of a polyvocal voice, as well as the means of referencing in informal writing – essentially quite similar to the formal method.
