Ayyyyyye – the first workshop for Media 1 done and dusted.

Starting the session with the introduction of oneself to the others in the room was expected of course, this simple activity satisfyingly left me to think, ‘I am with my people’, after the talks of movie, radio, news and all things media. Good start. And now having some familiar faces to recognise throughout uni was also v/ nice. After some technical issues with internet setup the workshop continued into the setup of this very blawg (blog). At first it was a tiny bit mystifying trying to become familiar with this site’s nooks and crannies, but the going back-and-forth between the site’s functions eventuated into a somewhat substantial looking blog. Next we were introduced to our first Project Brief, the lo-fi media self portraits. At first I was a tad confused and uncertain as what to include in this project, but after searching through the world-wide-web and some brainstorming a few thoughts and ideas have come to mind.
