This week was all about getting to know the class and the topics we’d be covering over the course of the semester. This week has a particular focus on artificial intelligence and augmented reality which I was excited about since learning about this was a major factor in why I picked this course. This week also had a focus on topics such as futurology which is where we look at today’s current technology and attempt to predict the future based on where that technology leads and expands into and how that concept has been used in media such as ‘The Terminator’ and ‘Westworld’ which is referred to as Neo Futurism.

It was fun to look into the activities this week such as making a starter pack meme where we can all have a bit of fun with the meme but it’s still a quick and effective way to recite your thoughts to the class.
