“Through the Eyes of a Killer”
The following link is to my research piece that explores the use of the POV camera technique applied in a selection of classic horror movies from the 70’s to the 90’s that chooses to show the POV through the perspective of the movie’s killer as opposed to the protagonist and the and narrative reason for this decision as well as examining the film’s modern remakes and how the technique has been applied with more modern equipment, if it has been applied at all, and if not why a director may not choose to incorporate it.
