I think this is my favourite skateboarding series I’ve ever seen. Essentially what happened was, eight filmmakers got given RED cinema cameras, and paired with a skater. Their main objective was to make a video part, but also documenting what happened, and how their life has been pushed in the direction it has because of skateboarding. I think what attracted me most was the cameras they were using, and this is something I can 100% see myself doing. My recommendation would be Josh Matthews part, Marty Reigel was the filter for Josh. His vision for what he wanted to create is definitely similar to mine when I film skaters. I want to create something that when non skaters watch they still gain enjoyment out of it.
