People have started sending me their audio file and they’re all really unique, and all extremely well thought out. 3 that really struck me were Elaine’s, Jordan’s and Elle’s.
I’ve been chasing the last few from some people and the logic file is nearly full of everybody’s content. After chatting to Robbie, he’s given me some creative license to edit together everyone’s work to create subtle sub-atmospheres within the broader soundscape.
With the students who have used the same sound for each channel, I decided position them on each track in such a way that they play together, but at different times which creates disjointment within the piece. I also crossfaded pieces that had similar timing and tempo in order to create moments of fluidity.
