I finished filming parts of my third sequence today and it went so well. Jackson and Marcus were so eager to help me out and were so fantastic and natural on camera, they were so easy to work with and incredibly friendly. I got them to wear bright coloured jackets in order to continue the thematic device that I’ve decided to employ in my non-solo sequences, the lighting and their skin tones really made the colours POP which is awesome. I’ve decided to use 3 couples of different sexual orientations in this sequence in order to exemplify my concept of intimacy being a universal idea – something that anybody can experience and something that knows neither sex, nor gender and to expose same sex relationships in a public space as I do not believe they get enough exposure in the public media.

I am filming with another couple in a couple of days and with Belinda later on in the week – I am extremely excited to have this all finished so I can begin to put my sound design together.
