We frequented Signal again today in order to prepare further for our Signal Exhibition. We discussed how we were all travelling within our groups. My group, the Tech Team, already seemed to have a large work load in terms to contacting Signal representatives and discussing the formats of and technical specifications of our video footage and the final sequence.
Spectacularly, Jordan was able to obtain templates of Jeanie which we could import into Premiere Pro and import our sequences to fit the template. He spoke to Dusty and I, and said that he would share it with the class in a Google Drive Folder, I also agreed to upload the technical manual I had compiled to the drive so students had access to it. I managed to obtain Premiere Pro as a friend of mine had 3 subscriptions to it (cheers, Pat), and saw how the template looked.
Here’s an image of it:
Additionally, I was put in charge of collecting, assembling, and producing the soundscape for the exhibition. I had done something similar for my Sound Design elective earlier in the semester so I felt like I could pull it off.
Jordan said he would put together an short presentation for the following week to instruct the class how to format the visual components of our work and how to import and create a sequence from the template he was given by Jeanie.
At the end, I told the class that their sound files needed to be exported as .wav files as they are easier to work with and import into Logic Pro X. I also told them that their sound would be channeled into 3 groups of so they would need to produce 3 different sound files.
