Lenny Shoot

We found that we had a lot to cover even for such a short film. We found it rather difficult to track our actors’ movements, and that we had to film the same actions/dialogue multiple times from all the angles we wanted instead of picking and choosing certain bits to film from certain angles. We only learnt this in post production when we were trying to edit and found that some shots could have worked better from a different angle or some shots had to be edited out completely because something in the background didn’t match up with the following shot.

Overall, it was a great team building experience for us and it helped us to prepare for our real shoot. We were able to get a grasp of what to expect, and how to better prepare ourselves for our drama film. After editing our Lenny, we decided to book out all our locations for a practice shoot so we will know how to maneuver around each other and we will have time to sort out any problems we may come across during our shoot.
