In 200 words or less please outline your goals, desires – what you want to get out of this semester. You will review this later in the course. Many will rethink this dramatically – this is a good thing.

In this semester I hope to really develop my production techniques; having realised I am a lot less experienced than many other in my course, there is a lot I can learn in all areas of film & TV- camera composition, sound, lighting, story-writing, editing, the works! Having never used Adobe Premier before, I am interested to see how it compares to Final Cut, and I hope by the end of the semester I will be more confident using Premier than I am with Final Cut.

If I can come out of this semester saying I know twice what I knew coming into the subject, I will be content with my learning experience. While I have no idea where I’d like this course to take me career wise, I hope that by the end of the year, if not the semester, I will have a bit more direction. This semester I also aim to begin my work attachments or find an internship in order to boost my learning and get some outside skill which will also contribute to my degree. I hope to be more invested in the course this year than I was during first year.
