Next week we are shooting our interview with Penelope at the drill hall. Listed below are a few questions we will ask her:
- How long have you been the artistic director?
- What does the circus mean to you?
- What do you think it means to the women that come here?
- How do you think the circus has changed from when you first started till now?
- What is you vision for the future of the circus?
We will also be attending a class to photograph some of the performers. We will have a written piece on each woman we photograph so we will also ask them questions, such as:
- Name and where you are from.
- How long have you been involved in the circus?
- Why did you join the circus?
- What do you feel you get out of the circus?
- How has your life changed since joining the circus?
- What is the process of how you become a performer from your everyday self?
