So the editing process has been an interesting time for me. I’ve found a new appreciation for editing that I didn’t really have at the beginning of this course, which I found whilst editing the “Surviving Uni” video. There’s an element of fun when editing a video because you have all these ideas in your mind about how to make it great, and when you achieve what you picture in your mind there’s this great sense of achievement. But on the other hand, when you don’t get it right its extremely frustrating. Something I’m struggling with at the moment is finding good stock footage to use that fits into the narrative of my interview. There’s some good stuff on the internet, but it can be extremely corny and plain stupid. I’ve been working at it for 4 hours straight and I feel like I’m starting to become one with the adobe premier software and that is a scary thought. With that said, time to get back to it!
