In today’s post, I adventure into the world of pitching and try my hand at using various tools.

Log Lines

Read on to observe my attempts at log lining, a tool Kathie Fong Yoneda explains in chapter three of The Script- Selling Game that is described as a method of teasing potential buyers into wanting to know more when it comes to pitching. The idea is to begin with a simple sentence outlining the plot of the work, then gradually add colourful adjectives and structure to give it more weight and entice a potential audience. Here I go!

A world in which people’s lives appear on their skin as tattoos.

A world in which a person’s life experiences, memories and character appear as permanent ink on their skin.

A world in which a person is born a blank canvas ready to be coloured by their life experiences, memories, relationships and personality.

A world in which people are more cautious of their actions as their decisions, life experiences, memories, relationships and personality appear as permanent ink on their skin for all to see.
