last studio interests

hierarchy in web is based on how many connections it has to it – the more links going to it, the higher up it will be. Not based on traffic. (eg. Instagram. Views and likes value not equal to follower value)

“keep things to read for when it might come to matter” – when will a thing come to matter? Will I remember that I have this in there when the time comes?

  1. things come to matter when they come to matter. So in my context I’m now an academic hoarder. I take snapshots of webpages I *might* one day need (but probably not) and keep them in evernote, with a couple of tags attached as I collect them. Storage is as good as free, so you collect, add some stuff to help curate, and then search for it later when you realise you might have it. The ‘trick’ is rather than prejudge something’s importance we let it’s importance arrive when it needs to.
