Slow dance in the Green

Reflection of Assessment 2
In the folio of assessment 2, The name of this film is “Slow dance in the Green”. I’m using most of my group resources that my group taken on Tuesday. I also use some of resources from Jessie and Kris’s groups. I’m choosing the theme of “HOLIDAY” which is the montage film which contains two different groups who at the Royal Melbourne Exhibition Centre. I splited them into two different interesting parts. One is the young couple; the other one is a family. The reason why I want to arrange these shots as well as my intention is because I want to show clearer that what they are doing and having fun there. Basically, my observational montage film’s theme is “HOLIDAY” and “FUN”, so I included a lot about the nature environment as well as the people’s actions. Such as the videos of close ups, extreme close ups, long shots, middle shots or the wide shots etc, to show their actions and the beauty of the nature environments. Through these editing, I think I shows the feelings of park to the audience.
In my editing and arrangement, I splited a lot about people’s actions, put some of the nature environments inside to make a good view of the audiences, in order to give the audience another view to look at. It seems not too boring for just insert the single video. My favourite part of my edit part is the last part of the children. I like the action of the children then instantly switch to the duck and the environment; I like the video ended by the father hugged his daughter away. Furthermore, I like the part of the couple’s chatting to the nature of the duck which from blurry to clear. In this assignment, I think I need to improve more about taking these videos, more technical skills such as the exposure and framing.
