Entered the workshop, thinking that we’d be learning something new or discuss the lectorial from the previous day. But nah, we ended up getting mixed up into groups to talk about our blogs and ways we could improve them.
To be fair, the experience wasn’t that bad but after a while, we just stopped discussing our blogs & continued doing our own work. If I had known that was the plan, I would’ve stayed home. Not really, I would’ve procrastinated (but I digress).
But throughout the workshop, I dawned upon me about the importance of sessions like this:
- You get feedback from others in the class that you don’t sit with.
- Whatever burning questions or queries I had, I could to ask Brian and get an immediate answer.
Conclusion: the motivation to complete my work was higher because everyone in the class is dealing with the same thing.
