When beginning our group presentation we looked into how we can best represent him as an artist. We decided from the beginning that we wanted to engage more conceptually in this interview. We didn’t want to simply create an interview that explored Arie as an artist, we wanted to engage with him as an artist and represent him through our filming and editing.

We discussed Arie and what we think are some key qualities of him and his work such as
repetition in his work
natural self made sound
his focus on performance

How are we going to display this through our film?

We would show repetition in our work, through sound or visuals

We would use natural sounds his or sounds that we created on our own

We would have a sense of liveness to our interview, make it seem that he has flow and realness to what he said and how he said it.
