Last week I learnt about IFTTT from the font of knowledge about all things digital – it seems – Elliot.
So the idea behind IFTTT is to streamline wherever you can. It’s about creating ‘recipes’ by linking certain sites one uses so that ‘triggers’ are created. A trigger may be created when linking for example your Tumblr to your blog, so that every time you make, just say, an image post on Tumblr, it will automatically post to your blog at the same time. Ingenious.
It’s particularly useful for keeping up to date with this subject blog as it now eliminates a second step in posting an image to my blog, creating an ease of access I didn’t know about before.
