After watching CC’s video, the need for “creative commons” has become apparent to me. It’s a great idea that allows artists to share their material without having to individually consent to every request they receive. Creative commons enables artists to “build upon” the work of other artists, to “collaborate” and “share”, while the original creator retains certain rights to their work.
