DIGITAL NARRATIVE PITCH
You will prepare and present a 3-minute pitch for a digital narrative idea. You will also write feedback on other students’ pitches.
- Pitch – present your pitch to the class during the tutorial in Week 5 (16 August). You will pitch verbally for no longer than 3 minutes (there will be a timer) and incorporate audiovisual elements. (The structure on the pitch and what should be included will be covered in the prior tutorials.)
- Peer feedback (blog post) – you will write feedback on the pitches for the five other students in your ‘production companies’ (formed in Week 4). You will write this feedback up into one blogpost. You will give this blog post this title: ASSESSMENT TASK 1: PITCH PEER FEEDBACK. (The elements for critique will be covered in the prior tutorials.)
Important – copy/paste to the end of the post the following electronic declaration:
I declare that in submitting all work for this assessment I have read, understood and agree to the content and expectations of the assessment declaration.
Word count range: 1500 words (around 300 words per peer)
NB: It is important to understand that the quality of the feedback is far more important than the number of words – the word count range is a guideline only.
Due dates:
Pitch – Wednesday Week 5 (16 August): during tutorial
Pitch Peer Feedback blog post – Friday Week 5 (18 August): 5pm
Percentage of Total Mark: 30%
