Being introduced to the notion of sound was what this class was about. We spoke about how much we each individually know about sound and what we wanted to get out of the class.

for me I wanted to harness my sound and audio skills especially using the audition program because i have little to no with it before during my degree. For me this is the missing element to my skill set and something i want to get a good grasp on by the end of this semester.

sound is something we don’t think about so much because we use our sight first and foremost to decipher our surroundings. Thus this course will be interesting as i will be able to explore the concept of sound more.

I have set my goals:

• be able to use the tools on Audition
• be able to use microphones
• be able to be a creative with sound and feel confident with what i produce in this class
