Finally done my final cut, during this working, I found it’s interesting of using premiere makes the frame more smooth, looks more real and the change of color and lighting makes my film more like Wong’s.

In my final cut, i just delete the first part that people pass by the lift, because i think it’s looks strange, when I edit it, my friend, as the audience told me he thought that part was so cool, but i still cut it. The beginning start Mike and Lara met, I change the color more dark and all the stop frame I cut it more smooth and the continuity more accurate. The scene of Mike drunk goes into the gate, I really like the color that i changed, more dark, more highlight his lonely inner world, black and blue more like Wong’s film style. I enjoy the time when i edit my film, edit each shot, changed the color, add video effect on it, by each cut to next cut, it become a complete scene, that what we called how each shot cover the scene. Three different scenes makes a film, easy understand the story, that also what Wong’s film style, LOVE.Uses different camera angle and movements depict character inner emotion. The dark environment also makes audience feel the mood.

One of the thing that I realize, no matter what you shooting good or bad, fantastic or not, it’s important when you edit your working, editing your work with techniques also important to achieve your goal. The shot cuts to next shots, using different effects are important, even the background music, it’s totally change your film style.  All the exercises in the semester I did, and my investigate on camera angle and movement, i think i did a well job on that. Through each week’s exercise, i improved step by step and got lots of knowledge.Also, i found, editing is more suitable for me, I like the way how make all the shots together to cover the scene.
