The Happy Birthday song was published in 1893. It is the most recognized song in the English language, and it has been translated into 932084082309 different languages.
I’ve known in since birth, my parents cousins grandpa’s mother-in-law probably knew it since birth too. Two centuries is a pretty long time, someone should get going and make a new happy birthday song for the world.
The word ‘documentary’ at first makes me imagine all the professionally filmed videos.
However, nowadays all the available and accessible media redefines documentary into something simpler and not always informative. People film stuff all the time. Its more like the purpose is just to document, record and inform. ‘Documentary’ (modern definition) films nowadays can be made simply by grabbing any camera available and filming the thing next to you.
If it means that documentary films are only a record of something that has happened, then everything on instagram or facebook can ignorantly be called documentary. Can these two videos be called short documentaries of street performers in Melbourne?

1. Be brave
I will ask questions whenever things puzzle me, and to communicate with my colleagues when we work together in class. I will ask at least one question a week.
2. Readings
I will read the given readings and understand them, I will blog about 1 set of reading each week.
3. Attendance
I will not skip lectures and tutorials.
4. Making videos
I will Vine to practice video making, film interesting things around me and be creative with them. I will share videos on this blog.
5. Be organized
I will not forget things like USB, pens or notebooks. I will submit assignments on time, printing and making them correctly, and I will fulfill all these tasks on time.

Greetings. This is my first post with words in it. I’m new to blogging as I don’t really have a blog aside from my Tumblr, which is 86% (random statistic) only filled with pretty landscape pictures and fangirling over Youtubers. I’m really keen on micro-blogging though and is one of the few people left in my circle of friends that still tweets.
Regarding the blog title, I tried thinking of something smart that I could put as a title to make it interesting. It was previously titled “Did someone eat an onion bagel” and I tried thinking of something that would sound better so here it is. Inspired by Lykke Li’s new song.
