The Rogan Roast ?: Ep2 Clothes! (WK11)

THE ROGAN ROAST

Wahab everyone, it’s true favourite chef here Josh Rogan, and I am serving up an absolutely scalding dish today, this subject needs no introduction, YES it’s appropriate clothing.

Back in the day appropriate clothing would be anything “respectable”, shirt, tie, black pants, maybe a jacket or blazer, and for women a long dress with a quilt or jumper, anything which isn’t too revealing for 7:37am train. However I am finding in this new generation, the term appropriate is a very broad and ambiguous term.

I saw a girl the other day wearing a top which only managed to cover one whole breast, whilst she was wearing bright red fishnets and had rainbow hair. Now besides the fact that it was revealing more flesh than a lion’s cage, the colour balance wasn’t all there, and to top this all of was her pose on the public transport was below ordinary.

Yes we live in a free country and a world of expression and being proud of who we are but when you dress inappropriately in front of others, looking like a rainbow wonder women just more revealing, the question needs to be raised, is there a line?

The most disappointing part of this was there were very young children on the train and young school girls, and the message that this sends out isn’t a positive one! I am outraged, and if my children mirrored this look, I would probably ground them for life. Seriously it’s not a good look and there are many many many better styles of clothing out there that are less revealing and more respectable, and there is a difference between expressing yourself and exposing yourself!

Even Madonna could’ve worn something more respectable in this situation, Lady Gaga’s meat suite was at least less revealing and more useful, especially if you were having a BBQ or a ROAST that night!

If you dress stupidly expect some backlash and if you dress inappropriately expect some disgusted looks! Yes this is a free society but think about all the people who have just have woke up and are trying to get into their day and they see a bloke wearing nothing but a sock…anyway you get my point, these good serving citizens don’t deserve to see this…it’s wrong on more levels than one!

So next time you decide to wear something very revealing or somewhat controversial like what Prince Harry, on many occasions, think about what it would do for your imagine and what it would do for younger generations viewing your badly executed fashion statement. Prince Harry is the man who you shouldn’t be mirroring in this instance, be you, express yourself, be proud of yourself but don’t expose yourself in a inappropriately manner, roast served and digested!
