It was clear to me that this week is that point in a semester/life where I start to deeply question ‘what could have been’. In relation to OVE, it was the fact that the Anti-Smoking Video Competition submission deadline was this weekend and in the Friday studio we discussed the idea of how the competition would have been a good case study for this studio- it would involve sketching lots of ideas and producing content which could ideally result in up to $5000 cash in prize money.

We also discussed our studio’s part in the Media Program Exhibition in week 13. We have a number of roles distributed throughout the class as we’ve decided the best way to go about our 20 minute studio presentation is show a highlights reel of everyone’s work, and take an interactive approach with MCs guiding the presentation along with an online channel showcasing our prototypes. I’m 1/5 whose role is to collect and collate images of each group’s process to display in the CDC exhibition.
