I was looking forward to the final symposium mainly out of curiosity of how it would end- whether it would be tips and advice on the essay or some kind of course overview…

It wasn’t really either but there was a good deal of clarification in regards to protocols and what differentiates a protocol from a policy.

There was also clarification about the structure of the course and this was enjoyable as a student asked, ‘Why is it necessary for this course to have such a completely different structure to any other course?’ and Adrian simply answered that it isn’t necessary, it’s just the pedagogical model he prefers to implement as a course designer.
