I’ve made very slow progress on my essay but have finally settled on a structure and thanks to some feedback from Elliot in last week’s lab, I’m comfortable with sticking to an in-depth, critical analysis of Eurovision rather than enhancing and describing career-prospects of it. The best thing about having freedom in this essay topic is that in ‘researching’ the subject of Eurovision, I have engaged with sources that may be very useful in the future, especially in terms of building a career. An example is in the social networking side- one of the most popular Eurovision blogs ‘Wiwibloggs’ is now following me on twitter and I have communicated with members of press via Tumblr.
