This weeks lectorial was about the benefits of collaboration and the importance of working with others to achieve goals and work outcomes. We discussed how collaboration works toward the development of skills (leadership), the establishment of peer relationships and the deepening of knowledge in the discipline area.
We developed the understanding that there are good and bad experiences, however with a few key points we can attempt to avoid the bad;
1. Having clear objectives
2. Good communication
3. Consistence
4. Respect
5. Support
6. Responsibility
7. Be equitable
Identify and develop an identity and sense of unity within your group, have team rules, dispute resolution procedures and finally conduct good meetings.
